DEADBOLT PR is the brainchild of Schae Beaudoin, an independent publicist for independent musicians. There’s no task too big or small for us. 

Schae’s love for music started at a young age - rock, funk, pop, metal and hip hop were all played in her house growing up. From exploring guitar and musical theater as a teen to playing open mics in college, music has always been her love. 

A few years as a journalist at outlets like Scene Daddy, UConn's Daily Campus and Ticket News gave Schae invaluable experience backstage and behind the scenes. Interviewing artists and covering events was a great start, but she sought more. 

After a move to Los Angeles and a few odd jobs in (and outside) the industry, Schae was fed up with the lack of upward mobility and creative thinking at many of these jobs. A desire to work more directly with artists led to the creation of Deadbolt PR.
